Benoit Stockbroeckx (Euralarm) développera au cours d'un webinaire ANPI les incidences possibles dans nos secteurs d'activité.
The RED lays down the rules for placing radio equipment on the EU market. It incorporates since its publication in 2014 some essential requirements awaiting enforcement by a delegated act. Such an act has been published in January this year. It enforces 3 essential requirement related to the cybersecurity of radio equipment. Products falling into the scope of these new requirements will need demonstration of conformity before affixing the CE mark and placing on the EU market.
The presentation will provide explanation on the scope of these requirements with examples from the alarm sectors (fire detection, security, social alarm), the timeline, the conformity assessment procedure and the related technical requirements currently discussed in the standardisation committees. The presentation will also sketch the whole picture of the emerging European legislative landscape regarding cybersecurity (Cybersecurity Act, RED, NIS2 directive and Cyber Resilience Act).
